Originally from South America, Bougainvillea loves the sun and thrives best in strong sunlight! Although it is evergreen, it can sometimes behave as a deciduous species if grown in cooler climates than the Mediterranean. However, in mild climates it blooms all year round!

It is a "must-have" plant on the balconies or gardens of true plant lovers, due to the exuberance of its flowering that brings color and joy to outdoor spaces.
