Registration
To make a purchase at Bioma Plants , you do not need to register. However, by creating an account, your details will be saved for future purchases and a record of the products you have already purchased. You will also have access to all our news, promotions and offers.
To create an account, click on the “Login | Create Account” button in the top menu of the page. Then, fill in all the fields in “Register New Account” with the requested information and click on “Register New Account” to finish.
Orders
To buy from Bioma, just follow these steps:
- In the menu that appears on the home page, you can choose the range or category of plants you want to view. If you are looking for a specific plant, you can search in the 'Search' bar at the top of the website.
- In the product list, click on the item(s) you like the most and take a closer look. You will see a brief description, with photographs and detailed features of each item.
- Add the plant of your choice to your shopping cart. You can choose to continue shopping and see more specimens or proceed directly to Checkout.
- Once you start the ordering process:
- Check that all the data entered is correct, especially the delivery address and associated contacts.
- Select one of the payment methods.
- After making the payment, you will receive an email with the order confirmation.
Yes! Data is transmitted in an SSL encrypted format. To pay with credit cards, you must enter the CVV (Card Verification Value), a code printed on the card that is used as a security measure in e-commerce transactions. Some banks require authorization to be given through their app. If you choose the Multibanco option, an entity and reference will be generated so that you can proceed with the payment. If you choose to pay with MBWay, we will send a notification to your mobile phone app.
If the modification request is made before the order is shipped, yes! Please contact us by email at info@biomaplants.pt and inform us of your order number, along with the changes to the items you wish to make.
Shipping
For orders under €34.90, shipping costs are €3.99. For purchases above this amount, shipping is free.
After payment, the plants are carefully selected, treated and packaged, complying with all the necessary requirements so that the plant arrives intact at its destination. Orders are sent on specific days, so that they spend as little time as possible inside the box, and are delivered within 24 to 48 hours, unless out of stock. A notification email is sent upon dispatch. You will also receive an SMS from the carrier with the tracking of the shipment.
Each order can only be shipped to a single address. Orders shipped to multiple addresses must be purchased separately.
If you require your order to arrive on a specific date, please let us know via the order form or immediately after you have made your purchase, before it is dispatched. This way, we can better assess your case and ensure that the service is completed!
Notes: Orders for delivery on specific days must be placed at least 5 business days in advance of the delivery date.
At the moment, Bioma only ships to mainland Portugal, but plans to offer shipping to the islands in the near future. Even so, if you wish to buy from Bioma from the Azores or Madeira, send an email to info@biomaplants.pt and we will assess the possibility of shipping, based on the carrier's quote.
Returns
Bioma Plants prioritizes the quality of all products, so that they reach the customer in the best possible condition. If any product does not meet these quality criteria, a complaint must be made in writing to info@biomaplants.pt. The full value of the product will be refunded and, in the case of a single product order, the shipping costs. Complaints must be communicated within 72 hours of receiving the order. I have a Discount Code, how can I use it?
Discount codes are used during checkout. When you enter the code, the discount will be applied to your purchase.
Please note that if the total order value is less than €34.90 using the discount code, shipping costs will be charged.
My code isn't working, what should I do?
If the code is not working, check:
- If the code you entered is correct;
- If the code validity has expired;
If even after these checks your code does not work, send an email to info@biomaplants.pt with a screenshot showing the error generated when using your code, in order to facilitate identification of the problem.
