The Madagascar Tray | Plate is recommended to complement the Madagascar Tray when used indoors. This way, excess water from watering, which comes out through the tray's drainage holes, accumulates in the plate, preventing it from passing onto other surfaces.

WARNING: When used outdoors, it is advisable, at least during the rainy months, to use the Madagascar tray without the saucer. Rainwater can soak the substrate and, as a result, the roots of most plants will rot.
