About Chinese Juniper Old Gold

Originating in China and Japan, Juniperus chinensis Old Gold, as it is also known, quickly spread throughout the world due to its hardiness, easy care and versatility. The foliage of this conifer remains green all year round, making it an excellent choice for creating hedges or covering garden slopes. This conifer can withstand Mediterranean winters without any problems, as it can withstand temperatures down to −24 °C.

This Juniperus is a medium-sized plant that can grow up to 1.5m tall and 4m wide, depending on what you want it to be. Pruning will determine whether you end up with a shrub, a low-growing ground cover plant (which will help reduce the temperature!) or a vibrant hedge.
