Calathea Whitestar

With wide leaves and delicate stripes that look hand-painted, the Calathea White Star is a tropical plant that will catch the eye in any room. Like all Calatheas, it prefers environments with good humidity, indirect light and regular watering, always keeping the substrate slightly moist, but not soaking wet. It is sensitive to hard water, so if possible, use filtered or rainwater.

Its unique foliage has a curious behavior: at the end of the day, the leaves lift slightly as if they were “sleeping”, a natural movement known asnyctinasty. This feature makes it even more charming for those who enjoy the dynamism of plants at home.

It is ideal for indoor spaces such as living rooms, bedrooms or even bathrooms with good natural light. It does not like drafts or direct sunlight.
