The Elephant Ear, as it is known, is native to Southeast Asia and owes its name to the shape of its leaves.

This attractive plant needs warm temperatures and plenty of humidity. Avoid direct sunlight to avoid burning the leaves. Don't hesitate to place it in the kitchen or bathroom to absorb more moisture.

The soil should be kept moist with lukewarm water. Do not allow the soil to dry out, but do not overwater. Water sparingly but frequently. Apply a slow-release fertilizer once a month during the growing season.
