About Vine

Traditionally used in wine production, this climbing plant has been gaining ground and importance as an ornamental plant. Originating between the Mediterranean and southern Germany, Vitis vinifera is now beginning to spread from its production fields to the balconies and gardens of plant lovers around the world.

This is an ultra-resistant and long-lasting plant - it can easily reach 100 years of age - much appreciated for its cool shade, the rural and picturesque touch it adds to outdoor spaces and, of course, its grapes! The fruits of these vines are edible and can be used to produce juice or wine.

Vitis vinifera needs a relatively large space due to its rapid growth, although it can be easily controlled by pruning. Caring for such a special plant is a unique, enriching and rewarding experience... The better the care, the more and better grapes!
