About Blueberry

This fruit tree, originally from North America, is commonly used for the mass production of blueberries. These small and delicious fruits are gaining more and more followers, attracted not only by their taste, but also by their health benefits.

As an outdoor plant, the blueberry is a very hardy, easy-care and fast-growing shrub. It can reach 3m in height and is perfect for ornamental plants or hedges. Between late winter and early spring, it will bloom with small white or pink bell-shaped flowers. It is a very leafy plant that will fit in well on balconies, terraces or gardens, whether in the ground or in a pot.

The much-desired fruits appear between late spring and late summer, depending on the conditions of the plant. They should only be harvested when they are fully ripe and have a dark blue color.
