About Kalanchoe Thyrsiflora

Originating from South Africa, Kalanchoe thyrsiflora is a perennial succulent that stands out for its fleshy leaves, arranged in a rosette, with a natural whitish coating that protects it from the strong sun. In good light conditions, especially outdoors or in very bright windows, the edges of the leaves take on a striking reddish tone, making it a real standout piece.

It is ideal for decorative pots, desert-inspired gardens or succulent compositions, adapting well to both indoors and outdoors, as long as it is protected from frost and excessive rain. It prefers direct sun or partial shade and should be watered in moderation — the biggest enemy of this plant is excess water.

With time and proper care, it can produce a tall flower spike with small yellow flowers, although it is often grown simply for the beauty of its leaves.
