Calathea Triostar, botanically known as Stromanthe sanguinea, is native to the tropical forests of South America, particularly Brazil. This plant is admired for its broad and striking leaves, featuring a unique blend of deep green tones with soft shades of pink and cream, while the underside reveals rich purple hues. This distinctive colour pattern makes the Triostar one of the most decorative indoor plants.

In its natural environment, it thrives in partial shade with high humidity and filtered sunlight. When grown indoors, recreating these conditions helps keep the plant healthy and vibrant. One of the most captivating characteristics of the Calathea Triostar is its daily movement, as the leaves gently rise at night, revealing their purple undersides, and open again during the day.
