There is a unique magic that only grandparents' gardens have. This effort, put in not only in plants, but also in warm food, wise teachings and the warmest hugs.  

Just as flavors and smells have the power to transport us to our happiest memories, plants also evoke the most beautiful feelings , linked to childhood or moments with special people. Do you still remember the plants in your grandparents' house? See if you recognize some of these!

 

Alocasia Polly 

Alocasia Polly has a certificate of authentication from all the grandparents in this country ! Hardier than it looks (just like its grandparents), this plant loves warm temperatures and humidity , native to the tropical regions of South Asia. Here, the Elephant's Ear was adopted by Portuguese grandparents, who helped it grow and multiply!

When we talk about bad energies, there are two plants that are always at hand: Sansevieria Laurentii (Saint George's Sword) and Dieffenbachia Camila. In entrances or in windows that were more protected from direct sunlight, these amulets had mystical weight, but brought lightness to the decoration. There are two options of resistant plants that bring to mind the most enigmatic tales and conversations about the typical village stories.

 

Aloe Vera 

If there's one thing grandparents have, it's a solution and remedy for everything. For that very reason, Aloe vera was a staple on the balcony or in the garden. They are usually seen in sets, and their beauty is amplified precisely by the variety of shapes and colors.

 

Hydrangeas 

To win the hearts of gardening lovers, there is a secret: hydrangeas! The memory of our grandparents will always live on in the flowers they planted. Hydrangeas are a great example of a plant that brings back childhood memories. They easily become the pride of a garden with their magnificent and colorful blooms. 

 

Anthuriums 

When it comes to indoor plants, anthuriums are king! It's not always easy to have flowering plants indoors, but anthuriums have become an easy and safe choice for brightening up your interior. Colorful, with robust flowers, bright, and completely irresistible.
